We had a great time in Denver a few weeks ago. I interviewed with a company that was very nice downtown, and then we spent the rest of the weekend with some good friends of ours.

Now, aside from the company I interviewed with deciding not to hire me, I noticed on their blog that though I have visited them 5 times this year, and helped Dave with this picnic table (I nailed a few boards together and held it up for him), there is no mention of any of it. No matter. We're still friends. I just thought I would point this fact out.

Congratulations! You've won...

...an all-expense paid vacation to Denver!!

Okay, so we didn't really win it, and it's not really all-expense paid, but still! Matt got a call yesterday requesting a second interview, and they would fly both him AND me (and Erin, but she's still young enough to sit on a lap, so she doesn't really count) to Denver for it! They're paying for the flights, and reimbursing us for everything else.

I'm really excited! We'll be flying down Oct. 16th and he'll be interviewing on the 17th, and then we'll fly back on the 19th.


YAY!!! A vaca! I thought I was stuck in Rexburg until we moved. I'm really looking forward to it.

New combined blog!

I just made this blog to combine in some way the separate blogs we already have. The other two will continue as normal, but this blog will serve to give updates on the family and less about just the kids or hobbies. What we're doing, where we're going, which friends we like more, etc.
